What Meta charges you
Rechlio adds no platform fee to WhatsApp — you connect your own WhatsApp Business account and Meta bills you directly. We do not quote Meta’s rates, because they vary by conversation category and country and they are not ours to publish. Put your rate in and this will add it up.

Where the rates come from
Every rate in the calculator is read from the same constants the billing code charges from. There is no separate marketing price list, which means this page cannot quote a number the product does not use — and a test fails if a rupee figure ever gets typed into it by hand.

The number we will not quote
WhatsApp conversations are billed to you by Meta. Rechlio never sees that charge, does not resell it, and does not mark it up — which is what being a Meta Tech Provider means in practice, and it is the entire argument for the ₹0 line in the table.
So the calculator asks you
Meta’s rates vary by conversation category and by country, and they change. Any figure printed on this page would be wrong for somebody on the day it was written. There is a box for your rate, and until you fill it in the output says plainly that Meta’s charge is excluded.
What it excludes
- Meta’s conversation charges, unless you enter the rate.
- Your monthly plan, if you are on one rather than pay-as-you-go.
- Your own time, which in outbound is almost always the biggest line.
- Anything you spend on a channel you configure yourself — your own SMTP server or MSG91 account changes the arithmetic in your favour.

- Why is WhatsApp zero?
- That is Rechlio’s fee, not Meta’s. Rechlio is a Meta Tech Provider, so you connect your own WhatsApp Business account and Meta bills you directly for conversations. There is no markup in between, which is the unusual part — not that WhatsApp is free. How that works.
- Why not just show me Meta’s rates?
- Because they vary by conversation category and country and Meta changes them. A number printed here would be stale eventually and wrong for somebody immediately. Meta publishes its own pricing; put your rate into the box and the calculator will include it.
- Do I need an account to use this?
- No. Nothing on this page is stored or sent anywhere; the arithmetic happens in your browser.
