Rechlio
Comparison

Rechlio vs WATI

WATI is an international WhatsApp platform that happens to sell in India. Rechlio is an Indian product that only sells here. That difference shows up in something concrete and checkable: WATI prices extra users in dollars, and Rechlio does not price users at all.

Seats, in dollars

WATI prices seats in dollars — $24 or $69 for each extra user, depending on plan. That is a real cost for a growing team and an unusual one for an Indian buyer, since it moves with the exchange rate. Rechlio charges nothing per seat.

Two seats on their Business plan is $138 a month before anything is sent — a figure worth converting before comparing it to a rupee price, and worth converting again next year.

What was not published

The plan prices themselves were not on the page when it was read. This page says so rather than sourcing them from a comparison blog — a figure nobody is accountable for is a figure that misrepresents someone eventually, and the party misrepresented would be WATI.

The seat rates and the single-user pay-as-you-go option were published, and those are in the table.

The India question

An international platform has to be good at many markets. A product built only for one can make assumptions: that the send window should default to Indian business hours, that TRAI’s rules on commercial communication hours bind the caller, that the AI voice agent needs to handle Hinglish rather than treating it as accented English, that businesses are found through Indian listings.

Those are not features WATI lacks so much as decisions it has less reason to make. If you sell in several countries, that breadth is the point and this section is an argument against Rechlio, not for it.

When WATI is the better choice

  • You sell in more than one country. Rechlio is built for India and does not pretend otherwise.
  • You already have your contacts and need WhatsApp tooling rather than discovery.
  • You want a large, established platform with a long track record and a wide integration catalogue.
  • A predictable subscription suits your budgeting better than per-action pricing.

When Rechlio is

  • You sell to Indian businesses and need to find them, not only message ones you have.
  • Your team is bigger than your sending volume — seats are the cost you would rather not carry.
  • You want AI voice calls in Hindi and Hinglish alongside WhatsApp, email and SMS.
  • You would rather pay in rupees, and have Meta bill you for WhatsApp directly.

Questions

Why does this page not state WATI’s plan prices?
Because their pricing page did not display them when it was read on 7 September 2026 — it showed plan inclusions and the seat add-on rates. The rule on this site is that a competitor figure comes from their own published material or it does not appear, so the row says “not published”. Ask WATI; it is their number.
Does the currency actually matter?
For an Indian business, a recurring cost quoted in dollars is a cost that moves with the exchange rate and typically carries a card conversion fee on top. It is not a large effect on one seat and it is a real one across several, over a year. Rechlio bills in rupees.
Is WATI a bad product?
No, and this page would be worth less if it pretended otherwise. WATI is a mature platform with a large customer base, sold in many countries. The comparison here is about pricing shape and about discovery, not quality.

This page is written by Rechlio, so read it as one side of a comparison. Every figure attributed to WATI comes from their own published pricing, is dated, and is linked above — nothing here is sourced from a review site or an affiliate roundup, and nothing is estimated.

Where WATI does not publish a figure, this page says so rather than filling the gap. WATI is a real product with real customers; for plenty of businesses it is the better fit, and the sections below say which ones.
